Our History

Swain Pools & Spas began the old-fashioned way: from the ground up and one customer at a time.

In 1980, Jeff Swain started the company by going door to door, personally introducing himself to homeowners and business owners throughout the area. He listened to their pool and spa needs and discovered that many customers were looking for better workmanship, more dependable service, and access to higher-quality products. Others simply wanted a trustworthy pool professional who could keep their water clean and their equipment working properly.

Jeff built the business through hard work, personal relationships, and a commitment to doing things right the first time. As word spread, Swain Pools & Spas grew from those early door-to-door conversations into one of the area’s most experienced pool and spa companies.

We have expanded our products, services, and expertise considerably since 1980, but we have never lost sight of the principles on which Jeff founded the company: listen to the customer, recommend the right solution, and stand behind the work.
